Please be aware of recent deception/laundering scams and bogus emails involving not only pilots advertising with Paramotorsuk classifieds but with other sites as well advertising goods of significant values. It is in everyone's interest that when advertising equipment etc. on the site, no money or cheques are sent to the persons requesting payment up front. Always inspect any paramotors, wings & equipment etc. before making a purchase.

Most initial contacts are made by email, claiming the person is a dealer or reputable business man who has someone in the UK owing them some money. You are then requested to clear a cheque through a UK bank clearing service account for a sum of money i.e. the total cost of your paramotor/paraglider. This can take a few days, the funds will appear available within your own bank account although the cheque has not actually cleared (and never will). On receipt of the first cheque you will be asked to send the outstanding balance of several thousand pounds to a nominated shipper by the bogus dealer. Ultimately the original cheque sent will never clear and you will then be short of a large sum of money from your own bank account. - Not Good!
